While the standard brokerage fee in Japan is one month's rent (plus tax), some properties allow the landlord to cover this cost. In these cases, you pay no fee at all. Our commission is consistently 1.1 months of rent, regardless of the property, so we have no financial incentive to steer you toward a particular listing. You can search for your new home with complete confidence.
